Why We Are Part of a Broader Network of Biblical Churches

Presbyterian?

Just to state the obvious, you don’t have to consider yourself Presbyterian or have had a presbyterian background to find a home here. We are a Biblically faithful church that is centered on Jesus, the Gospel, and the Great Commission. If that sounds good to you, we invite you to join us on a Sunday and see what we are all about.

Presbyterianism is a form of church government where a church is led not by a single individual who calls all the shots, but by a group of qualified leaders elected by the congregation. While not our primary identity as a church, we like being Presbyterian because we believe (1) it very clearly follows the New Testament model of church government (Acts; Titus 1); (2) it provides accountability and protection for pastors, church leaders, and church members, and (3) it connects our local church to a broader network of churches with shared commitments and convictions.

The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) is not a perfect denomination, but it is one of the few growing denominations in the country due to its commitment to the Bible and desire to fulfill the Great Commission.
